Hi! I'm Badger (not my real name of course). I'm nineteen years old and I figured that I could put all of my thoughts into a blog! I'll be mostly using this space for talking about my favourite types of media, or just giving random life updates. Yes, that is a stock image, I don't have any of my own nature photos on my laptop.
so what inspired me to make the page?
The actual inspiration comes from the fact that I needed something to do to keep my mind active when I'm stressed with school, or - and especially recently - personal relationships. I'm at university, studying film and creative writing, and so a lot of the content on this blog will circulate around that. This is not a life advice page; sorry to disappoint! It's just a fun hobby for me.

I'm a huge fan of all things horror. My favourite horror film is probably Scream (as stereotypical as that is) and my favourite book is Watership Down, which probably somewhat fits the genre too. My favourite non-horror film is Jim Henson's Labyrinth. I tend to steer myself towards queer books - whether that be queer-centred or just written by queer authors - and a lot of the writing on this blog will also pertain to my experience as a queer person. Most of the books that I will talk about here will be books by, or about, queer people.
I'm neurodivergent and disabled, and I believe that this blog will be a good creative outlet for any frustrations I may have as well as being able to potentially create a community of other struggling in the same ways I do day to day.
As of writing this, my favourite TV show is The Pitt on HBO. #robbydefender4life. As previously mentioned, my favourite film is Labyrinth, and I love Watership Down enough to have a tattoo of it! I love Panic! at the Disco, The Lumineers, Lord Huron and Fall Out Boy and I really enjoy playing guitar. Maybe I'll post videos at some point, but who knows? I collect antique books, and my oldest currently is 216 years old (from 1809). I'm a bit of a history nerd but only with specific stuff so don't quiz me I beg. I'm getting sick of listing things here, so I'll tell you what to expect in bullet points:

- my own writing (possibly)
That's all I can think of for now. I have no idea what the first post on this blog will be besides this, but I'll get on it ASAP.
